  • What did I learn that increased my understanding of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy? Every time I hear the back story of the Manaiakalani history I learn something new, which reminds me how dynamic the journey has been for so many people. The exciting part for me is the progress over time, which is consistent and evolutionary.
  • What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional? I have been chaotic in the management of my folders and files and the session on Drive was illuminating, in that I realised how much time I wasted by not using a better workflow system.
  • What did I learn that could be used with my learners?  The learner possibilities have been endless and being cognisant of adult learners, the potential for them of how to extend their learning was evident in the many ideas presented. The sites we explored offered many possibilities such as RBG, which I had never used before. The many aspects of today were mindblowing, revealing and how exciting it is to be on a continuing pathway of learning/

  • What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow in my personal life? I realise that I need to revise a lot of the possibilities of the affordances of technology in my personal situation, which would help to streamline and refine my life.

  1. Kia ora Anne,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the day, it is so lovely to have you with us in Ōtaki! Taking the time to sort your Google Drive can be well worth it, and it's one of those tasks you can put a movie on and sit in front of the telly to achieve. It does take time, but once you are sorted I believe it makes things so much easier!

    Ngā mihi nui
